P.A.College of Pharmacy celebrated International Women’s Day on 14^thMarch 2024 in PACE Auditorium. Dr. Geetha D Kulkarni, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central crime branch Mangalore division was the chief guest of the event. other guest include Dr. Ruksana, Psychologist, Dr Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal of PAET, Dr.Aysha L V ,Vice Principal, P.A. Institute of Physiotheraphy, Ms. Shafinaz Ismail, Admission officer, Dr. Saleemulla Khan ,Principal of P.A.College of Pharmacy, Dr. Muhammad Mubeen, Vice Principal of P.A.College of Pharmacy were present in the programme.

The formal function was began at 1.45 pm with prayer by Aysha Anan of 4^th year B. Pharm and Ms. Ayisha Najfath Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by the release of constitution of Women Empowerment Cell .Ms.Nishmitha Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics presented the constitution. Dr. Geetha D Kulkarni shared her thoughts and insights of women Empowerment. Pharma Students Forum ‘AUGMENT’ followed by inauguration of its members. The president of student forum Ms Nabeesathul Sahadiya presided the oath to serve the student community with compassion and commitment.

As the highlight of the programme, Women Empowerment Cell felicitated the 3 prominent women leaders of PAET-Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, PAET, Dr.Aysha L V, Vice Principal, PAIP, and Ms. Shafinaz Admission Officer. The honourable chief guest was felicitated by appreciating her service to the department and society. The formal function was wound up by vote of thanks from Ms. Prathika Bhandary, Assistant Professor, department of Pharmaceutics, followed by National Anthem.
