Day 01: 29 January 2024 Monday

MONOCHROME DAY

Each member of the house wore dresses of any one color other than black and white. They were judged and granted points based on their uniformity, presentation and overall appearance.

·         Mehandi Competition:

Four groups of two members from each house participated and the theme given was bridal henna. Participants were given 1 hour. First prize was secured by Huda Akthar and Khadeeja Tamanna from red house and second prize was awarded to Fathima Mufsin and AyshathRamseena KA from blue house


Pick and speak:

Five individuals from each house participated. Participants were asked to pick topics on spot from the provided pool of topics upon which they were given two minutes of preparation time and three minutes for performance. Use of mobiles were strictly prohibited.  The first and second prizes were secured by Nahema Fathima from green house and Aleemath Aadiya from red house respectively

 Advertisement:

Two groups of four members from each house participated. The products were given on spot to the participating groups. They were given a preparation time and performance time of five minutes each. The following participants bagged first and second prizes.

First prize: Naheema Fathima, Avva Labeeba, Asiya Nasheeda, Fathima Ashfiya (green house).

Second prize: Nafeesath Nafiya, Annath Juzaina, Khadeeja Hamna, Fathima Shamna (blue house).


  Story telling:

Two individuals from each house participated and they were asked to pick from the pool of themes on the spot. They were given a preparation time and performance time of five minutes each. The following students were conferred upon the first and second prizes respectively: Nafeesath Nihala Khathun from green house and Nafeesath Safreena from blue house.  

 Day 02 Events:  30 January 2024 (Tuesday)

TWINNING DAY

Two members from their respective houses wore twinning outfits. They presented their twinning outfits to the judges through a ramp walk and was granted points based on their appearance and performance.

   Calligraphy competition:

Eight individuals from each house participated. The theme given was “Mind is like a parachute, it doesn’t work if it’s not open”. The participants were given 45 minutes duration for completing their art work. The following participants secured the first and second prize.

First prize: Ayshath Nahida from yellow house.

Second prize: Khadeejath Mufeeda from yellow house.

  Collage making:

Two groups of four from each house participated. The theme for this event was “organ donation”. Participants were asked to bring newspapers and magazines required for the event. Precut items were strictly prohibited. Participants were given 45 minutes for the event. First and second prize were awarded to Salmath Thasmeena and team from blue house and Anisha and team from red house respectively.

Word games:

Three groups of three participants from each house participated. The event was comprised of four elements such as crosswords, puzzles, word pyramid and spell bee. Each element were given its own time limits. The total duration of the event was 60 minutes. The first prize was awarded to Naheema Fathima and team from green house and second prize was bagged by Jameelath Zahida and team from red house.

Poetry writing:

Four individuals from each house participated. The theme were given on spot. The participants were given 1hour to complete their poem. The first and second prize were secured by Shaima Asiya from red house and Nahima Naaz from yellow house respectively.

Solo singing:

Two individuals from each house participated. The participants were asked to sing western songs with or without karaoke given that they had to submit the karaoke prior to the event. First prize was bestowed upon Karthik Roshan from yellow house and second prize was secured by Fathima Rida from red house.

 Day 03 Events: 31 January 2024 (Wednesday)

CHARACTER DAY

Each members of their houses wore dresses of different characters from movies, books and etc. they presented their characters to the judges and was judged based on how similar they were to their characters.

·         Photography:

Five individuals from each house participated. The theme given to the participants was “capture the moments”. The participants were asked to submit the moments captured from day1 and day2 using mobile phone camera. Participants had to submit the photos before 12pm of day3. The first and second prizes were bagged by Ahammed Anwar Ali from green house and Fathimath Ashreena Sherin from yellow house.

Meme making:

There was no participation limits from each house. The participants were given the topic “pharmacy related memes”. Participants were informed of the disqualification followed by the submission of plagiarized memes. They were asked to submit the entries before 12pm of day3. The first and second prizes were secured by Ahammed Anwar Ali and Sayyed Ahammed Sanah, both from green house.
